Molteni Retro Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: 1) Molteni retro cycling cap#1 is the all-black Molteni retro cycling cap which is inspired by the 1960s wool training tops that were issued to the riders.

We love the Molteni logos, the Italian Scudetto on each side & that bold central stripe that is screen printed so that we can match the exact colour of the Molteni jersey.

Peugeot Retro White Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: 2) Peugeot white cycling cap#2 is the revised edition of the iconic Peugeot cycling cap that now features all the correct logos - Peugeot BP Michelin - that are also on our exclusive Peugeot retro jersey.

The iconic black and white checkerboard design was first adopted by the team kit in '63 with riders like Tom Simpson and Eddy Merckx both wearing a Peugeot BP team cap like this during their career.

Mapei Retro Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: 3) Mapei cycling cap#3 is the colourful Mapei team cycling cap that features those fabulously colourful and all-important Mapei cubes that can also be found on the company's products.

Part of our long-standing Mapei retro collection, we first sold the MAPEI kit way back in 1996, so it's wonderful that this cap (based on the 2002 kit) still sells daily.

San Pellegrino Retro Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: 4) San Pellegrino cycling cap#4 on our list of best-sellers is the San Pellegrino retro team cycling cap.

Just like last year, the San Pellegrino cycling cap will have to settle for fourth place in our top ten countdown of the best cycling caps, agonizingly close to the podium.

Peugeot Retro Black Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: Peugeot BP black cycling cap#5 is the inverted black Peugeot retro cycling cap, which is a stylish alternative to the traditional and authentic white version.

The darker colour is certainly more practical when riding in typical Autumnal conditions.

Cafe de Colombia Retro Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: Cafe de Colombia cycling cap#6 is the Cafe de Colombia retro cycling cap. Active during the 80s, the team gave Colombian riders like Luis Herrera & Fabio Parra the opportunity to shine in European races like the Tour.

After Egan Bernal's victory in the 2019 Tour de France, becoming the first Latin American winner of the race, these caps were selling daily throughout the Summer months.

Space Invaders Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: Spacer Invaders cycling cap#7 on the best-selling list is this eye-catching Space Invaders cap that features an out of this world 8-bit design that uses striking screen-printed colours against a black background.

Amazing that it all came about after a lightbulb moment on a family trip out to the local bowling alley!

Cinelli Jungle Zen Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: Cinelli Jungle ZenAfter having introduced a colourful range of Cinelli cycling caps to our selection, Lida Ziruffo's Jungle Zen cap is by far the most popular of them all and is #8 on our countdown.

The Cinelli Art Programme brings some wonderfully original and colourful designs, all of which are a joy to pick and pack for customer orders.

Molteni Arcore Retro Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: Molteni Arcore cycling capAfter being the top-seller of last year, the Molteni Arcore retro cycling cap is #9. It's an accurate reproduction of the original team cap, it's absolutely identical to the cycling cap worn by the great Eddy Merckx.

Looking at the sales information in more detail, there is a definite change in popularity from white-based caps like this to more colourful and often darker designs.

Omloop Van Vlaanderen Race Cycling Cap

Best cycling caps: Omloop Van Vlaanderen cycling capIt's one of five different cycling caps in our exclusive Forgotten Races collection, the Omloop Van Vlaanderen cycling cap is #10. The Belgian cobbles run through the centre of the cap, continuing onto the peak with colours of the Belgian flag also featured.

Our three favourite cycling caps of 2019

All ten best-seller caps are tagged together on our cycling cap collection page, but if you can forgive the editorial bias, we have added three caps that are our personal favourites below that didn't make the top 10 this year.

Deceuninck Quick Step Belgian Champion Cycling Cap

Our picks: Deceuninck Quick Step Belgian Champion Cycling CapArriving at the start of June from Vermarc, this limited edition Deceuninck Quickstep Belgian Champion pro team cycling cap is the exact design as worn by the national champion Yves Lampaert in training, races and podiums.

Also on the same shipment were the Italian, Danish & Luxembourg versions worn by Elia Viviani, Michael Mørkøv and Bob Jungels respectively.

Prendas Chambéry 1989 Celebration Cycling Cap

Our picks: Prendas Chambéry 1989 Celebration Cycling CapOur exclusive Chambéry cycling cap celebrates the wet sprint finish at the 1989 Road World Championships in Chambéry where Greg Lemond took the victory.

Both side panels feature white silhouettes of Lemond, Konyshev, Kelly, and Rooks sprinting for the right to wear the rainbow jersey the following season.

Prendas Lisboa Rain Orange Cycling Cap

Our picks: Prendas Lisboa Rain Orange Cycling CapMany of you know about our fondness of the colour orange, mainly thanks to our love of the Euskaltel team, so it was gratifying to get an orange version of our Lisboa rain cap added to the range.

Made using a lightweight dual-membrane fabric, this cap is ideal for Spring and Autumn thanks to the properties of the Lisboa fabric.
